I am quite new with Fedora and Linux, so I will try my best.

I got an old and nice computer with a Fedora 13 version. I wanted to update it, so I used preupgrade. While downloading nicely data for updating to Fedora 17, I cancelled the upgrade to start again with a Fedora 14 update to begin.

It never worked, whatever Fedora versions I tried then to install, it tells me it cannot reach the mirror:

"Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: preupgrade This could be caused by a missing network connection or a bad mirror."

Do you know what I should do and what could help?

Thanks a lot

Fedora 13 as well as Fedora 17 are end of life releases and preupgrade is no longer supported as well and has been replaced by a new tool called fedup introduced in Fedora 18. The latest supported release is Fedora 20 and Fedora 21 is about to get a beta release as well. I would strongly advise taking a backup of your data and doing a fresh installation of Fedora 20.

Complicated in my case, but okay, thanks.
