How to install LXQT on Fedora 21?

Hi all,

I've Googled around for this but can't find a definitive answer. After yum search lxqt I can see some lxqt files, but nothing that is obviously the correct package to install to have a full-featured LXQT environment.

Could someone advise which packages I need to install please? Is it liblxqt?

Many thanks in advance

You can install lxqt from copr. LXQT isn't official, but can use the repository for testing purpose.

dnf copr enable tieugene/LXQT

It looks like someone is already doing the work for this. Take a look here:

http://www.heliocastro.info/?p=162

The link at Fedorapeople in that blog entry doesn't work - it looks like the page is removed, but if you go here:

https://heliocastro.fedorapeople.org/

there appears to be an FTP repository with rpm's for 0.8.0 and 0.9.0 available.

Good luck if you're going to try these out - I've not installed them so I can't personally recommend this.
