Hi there. At the university they told us to install Linux Fedora and Eclipse for programming in C++. I've installed Eclipse Luna but the problem ist, that I can't create any C++Project but only Java-Projects.

What should I do?

Eclipse is a java ide, written in java. However, it has plugins to support almost every programming language out there. The plugin for developing in C/C++ is called eclipse-cdt.

For future reference you can always do searches using the package manager:

dnf search eclipse

That would show you a big long list of all(most) of the packages relating to eclipse. You could then search more specifically through that list with grep, like this:

dnf search eclipse | grep C++

And that would give you packages that have both eclipse and C++ in the package name or description.

Good luck, and have fun programming
