Till now it was possible to active in nautilus a second menu entry which allows me to directly delete a file/folder and not only move it to trash. How can I enable this menu entry again in Fedora 22? It does not exist anymore in the Preferences.

You can do that by keyboard with:

shift+del

Keys it will remove files without sending it to recycle bin.

Thanks. It looks like this is the only solution left. I hoped it would be possible to to get the menu entry again.

Unbelievable. What is wrong with the gnome Files developers? Not even a hidden feature in dconf. Closer and closer to abandoning gnome.

you may set this feature in nautilus preference

or via cli

gsettings set org.gnome.nautilus.preferences enable-delete true

or use

dconf-editor

select org->gnome->nautilus-preference

Oh my God, another feature removed by new version. :-(

I'll never understand this way of doing.

why it must be so dangerous this feature?

sorry guys, I would never have imagined that it was removed.

I agree with @maxim

Yes, the feature was removed. So I was looking for a new solution. Very sad :-(
