How to set up the request for the new package, or how to obtain a credentials for login (user name and passwd). Torrent-search applications is phenomenal and it really is a shame that it is not in the repository, as it has in the arch and the Linux Mint repositories.

qbittorrent is a possible alternative.

for torrent-search:

a) ask the author how much interest has to support the management of an rpm package, either directly, by creating his own package, or indirectly, by providing all the information useful to the creation / maintenance package

b) offer your help for this task.

c) propose yourself as possible package maintainer.

I built torrent-search rpm on copr , you may install it from here : https://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/...

I add a repo to /etc/yum.repos.d/, then I manage to install the app via terminal, not with the apper package manager, but it did not work. Did you test it? I am using the KDE, maybe it's environment issue?!

Thank you for your suggestions, but really that's the problem. Torrent-search app stands out, in that, you does not have to visit the web site to obtain a torrent file. Instead, when you click the search result from the application itself, you get a torrent file directly to the selected torrent client. In this way, you can avoid any unwanted consequences of visiting torrent sites.

The second functionality is, when you set the search query, you can get results from multiple torrent search providers (like for example: https://torrentz.eu ), and there is the option of adding them to your liking.

Yes, it's a little outdated, but it works great. There is no better application with such functionality. At least, I can not find another similar.
