Hi, I'm using FEDORA 22 (GNOME) and I need help in configuration of Network Manager. Everything works perfectly till I want to change settings of previously "automatically" created hotspot! Really, after turning the Wi-Fi (Hot-Spot) off, it should be possible to access the settings of the Access-Point, nonetheless there is blank space without any informations or possibility to change anything!

Please help, ł.o.

Welcome to ask.fedora. I have two questions for you: first, what version of Fedora are you using and second, which Desktop environment? (If you don't know, or just accepted the default, it's Gnome.) Please respond either by editing your question or as a comment rather than use up your answer for something like this.

Don't ask me why (as I can't tell, apparently because someone has decided that users don't need editing hotspot settings!), but yes, you can't do it using default GUI tools. Fortunately, there is still a tool to edit such settings: nm-connection-editor. Run nm-connection-editor and in that GUI you can modify settings of your Hotspot connection. Remember this tool, since there are a number of other things which is available in this GUI but not in the default one.

You're welcome. :) It would be nice if you 'vote up' the answer in such situations.
