I have installed bugzilla in fedora 22 and I am trying to login to my bugzilla account using the terminal. I enter:

bugzilla login

there is a prompt for my username. I enter the mail ID as my username. then there is a prompt for my password. I enter my password. after a while the following message is displayed:

data must be a byte string

however I can login without any problems in the bugzilla site. why can't I login from the terminal?

I have done this. After I enter my Bugzilla username, there is a prompt for Bugzilla password. After I enter the password I get the message:

INFO (base:684) Logging in . . .
data must be a byte string
