Qt apps using dark color theme

I am using calibre and keypassx, both Qt (though non-kde) apps, and they are using a dark color scheme with pretty much unreadable text.

Example:

Playing with the tweak tool and qtconfig do nothing. While I can change the Qt theme in qtconfig, the colors are always dark.

Note: my GTK theme is the standard light gnome 3 theme in FC 17.

How can I fix this?

The Qt apps use the GNOME2 configs (gconf), I think. Try:

gconftool-2 --set --type string /desktop/gnome/interface/gtk_theme Clearlooks

Replace with whatever GTK2 theme you want/have. You need package GConf2
