I've been using Ubuntu for a while, and chose to install Fedora 16 today. I've checked out a couple of answers for installing the Nvidia driver, but they seem to be targeted at the PAE kernel or the i686. I'm looking for an answer for the 64 bit Fedora 16.

The best known and most reliable tutorial for installing the nvidia drivers on Fedora is at the Fedora Forums Setup Guide section. You can find the page here:

Se sure to follow all the steps. There's an usual problem on Fedora 16 with glibc conflicting with the drivers. The workaround has been posted though. Hope this helps.
