COMPILATION PROBLEM

i have installed fedora 17..bt i am unable to compile c,c++,java programs.. e.g. after writing c program i do da following bt it dont help me...

[amit@localhost ~]$ vi c.c
[amit@localhost ~]$ cc c.c
bash: cc: command not found
[amit@localhost ~]$ gcc c.c
bash: gcc: command not found
[amit@localhost ~]$ g++ c.c
bash: g++: command not found
[amit@localhost ~]$

suggest me what to be done...

yum install gcc

should get you going.

Hi, I've installed all the necessary to compile, in the following manner.

su

yum -y groupinstall "Development Tools" "Legacy Software Development" "Development Libraries" 

yum -y install kernel-headers kernel-devel hg git

don't worry

development-tools is only necessary for create RPM packages on Fedora and doesn''t need to compile a simple c,c++ program...
