file save dialog has bad focus when changing directory

I think this is a problem with Gnome, since I've seen it in Ubuntu as well.

When I save a file in any application that uses standard File Save dialogs, the "Name" field (i.e., where you're going to name the saved file) stays highlighted when you click around to find the right directory to save to. Then I expect that I should be able to just type in a new name, but when I do, it starts plugging your text into some mystery text entry box hovering above the "formats" dropdown. (This box has no function, as far as I can tell.)

When text does not have focus, it should not be highlighted like that. Do other people see this as well? Where should I report this bug? Thanks!

Thanks. I added a comment to

which is basically the same bug. It's been around since 2009, so I'm not too hopeful my addition will get results.

Ironically, I reported this bug in Gnome 2 about 10 years ago and got it fixed. It's a pity it's back.
