Hi, bit of a Linux noob truth be told, but I'm trying & learning!

I wonder if I might get some assistance with getting Vbox Guest Additions working as I've been having a nightmare time with it.

I have an old(ish) laptop on which I've installed Fedora 23 (i686), I've installed VirtualBox and have a working Windows 7 virtual machine. BUT, for the life of me I can't get guest additions to install, run whatever, it just fails to work!

I've tried a bunch of stuff from previous forum threads all over, but no joy and I'm pulling my hair out!

For what I understand Fedora is the host and Windows is the guest, right?

So the "Guest Additions" should be installed on Windows:

The usual procedure is to use the "Device" menu in VirtualBox to get a optical drive with the guest addition

Then this drive should appear in Windows explorator as a CD-Rom, you open it and launch the Guest addition installation

Does it fails somewhere ?

after enter in windows vm , you should see on Virtualbox menus , download guest editions , mount cd rom , and install like it is an other program on windows from cdrom device .
