RPM Fusion (Free & Non-Free):

Open a terminal and issue the following commands (Both free and nonfree are required)

To enable access to both the free and the nonfree repository use the following command:

Fedora 15 and 16:

su -c 'yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/rpmfusion/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm http://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/rpmfusion/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm'

At the password prompt enter the root password then press Enter.

  • Códecs:

GNOME:

sudo yum install gstreamer-plugins-bad gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras gstreamer-plugins-bad-nonfree gstreamer-plugins-ugly gstreamer-ffmpeg

KDE:

sudo yum install xine-lib-extras xine-lib-extras-freeworld k3b-extras-freeworld

By installing the RPM Fusion Repository Configuration, as defined in the instructions, but when installing gstreamer plugins from the repository, Apper stuck after clicking on the "Yes" to confirm the trust certificate key. What there can be wrong? Check, key certificates are correct.

Hmm, I think I'm on Fedora 17 and this cocked things up for me .. this looks more likely http://fedorasolved.org/multimedia-solutions/xmms-yum-livna/?searchterm=mp3 & doesn't work for me now
