In case anyone is interested in changing the shell theme in Fedora 16 using gnome-tweak-tool:

# sed -i 's/THEME_EXT_NAME = "user-theme@gnome-shell-extensions.gnome.org"/THEME_EXT_NAME = "user-theme@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com"/' /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gtweak/tweaks/tweak_shell.py

You can also modify /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gtweak/tweaks/tweak_shell.py from your preferred text editor, change the line noted by Skytux, save and voilá.

Much easier to modify the user-theme to return it to its original name i.e. user-theme@gnome-shell-extensions.gnome.org. This is what it is called in the source repository. Somehow it ended up being remamed to user-theme@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com for Fedora 16.
