Hi,

This was a nice feature before f16 for documentation purposes: we only needed to press 'shift+printscreen' and all the captures were stored under /root/anaconda-screenshots.

It seems that the feature is still there in f16 and f17, but I cant find those pictures anywhere on my system. Anybody knows what happened?

Regards, logan.

according to the documentation it still there for f16 and f17 but there is a bug report in bugzilla redhat about this issue 787962 and it seem there is a workaround at the end of this post.

If you are doing this for training/documentation purpose using a virtual machine might be a valid alternative.

In that case you may even record your desktop (unfortunately without audio at the moment) just pressing the shortcut keys combination

shift + ctrl + alt + R
