remote access under F23

I updated my Lenovo laptop from F20 to F23 last weekend. With F20, my brother could remotely access my computer to fix stuff (I'm a typical "End User"). After updating to F21 (and F22 and finally F23) he could not access my laptop any more. I didn't change anything to the router settings; only F20 was updated to F23 on my laptop...

Any ideas?

What exactly do you mean by "unable to access laptop"? How does he connect to your laptop?

Is System Settings: Sharing: Screen Sharing and Remote Login turned on?

Does the firewall allow remote connections to the screen sharing and remote shells?

To allow remote connections over SSH, you need to run firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=ssh as the root user. (The same is true for any other service.)
