On the reboot the system fails in the preupgrade from F15 to F16 with the following error logged..... 15:46:10 Upgrading filesystem-3-2.fc17.i686 warning: filesystem-3-2.fc17.i686: Header V3 RSA/SHA256 Signature, key ID 1aca3465: NOKEY 15:47:14 Upgrading fontpackages-filesystem-1.44-4.fc17.noarch 15:47:14 Upgrading kdenetwork-common-4.8.4-1.fc17.noarch 15:47:14 Upgrading plexus-interpolation-1.14-3.fc17.noarch 15:47:15 Upgrading ca-certificates-2012.81-1.fc17.noarch 15:47:15 Upgrading setup-2.8.48-1.fc17.noarch warning: /etc/group created as /etc/group.rpmnew warning: /etc/gshadow created as /etc/gshadow.rpmnew warning: /etc/shadow created as /etc/shadow.rpmnew 15:47:17 Upgrading filesystem-3-2.fc17.i686 error: unpacking of archive failed on file /bin: cpio: rename failed - Resource temporarily unavailable

I noticed a variation of this was reported as a bug for F15 but not ever fixed. Seems we still have the same problem. Is there a fix???

I'm just pointing out that the author resolved the problem. See the author's own comment for details.
