what ncurses library are instaled open terminal and execute :

rpm -qa | grep ncurses

i think you need :

The header files and libraries for developing applications that use the ncurses terminal handling library.
Install the ncurses-devel package if you want to develop applications which will use ncurses.

sudo yum install ncurses-devel

or you can use GUI PackageKit and search ncurses or you can use command line :

yum search ncurses

The question is rather back to you - how much do you know about working with terminals and yum?

open a terminal as root user, e.g. press [CTRL]+[ALT] and wait a bit. When the login screen comes up, log on as root.

man yum

brings you some information about how to use yum - the tool for installing packages.

Some more hints:

yum search ncurses yum install ncurses-devel yum update

take a look and play around if you are on a system where you are really on a system that you can destroy without any problems.
