How can I disable all updates from rpmfusion so that if I do

yum update

it will only update from fedora repo. How can I overide this when I notice updates I do wish to install from rpmfusion?

I was readin yum --help but the only option that appeared to be suitbale was download only however that doesn't take options when I did this.

yum --downloadonly=rpmfusion-free

I get this error

Command line error: --downloadonly option does not take a value

  1. Disable YUM Repo (Permanent)

All repo are stored in /etc/yum.repos.d/ Edit this file as root and change enabled to 0

## Change
enabled=1

## To
enabled=0
  1. Disable YUM Repo using YUM (Temporary)

    yum install some-package --disablerepo=some-repository

Example :

sudo yum update --disablerepo=rpmfusion-free
  1. Enable disabled repo with YUM:

    yum install some-package --enablerepo=some-disabled-repository

Example :

sudo yum update --enablerepo=rpmfusion-free

Note : you can disable or enable one or more repo just using comma :

sudo yum update --disablerepo=repo1,repo2,repo3,etc
