Now in our processor model B, is installed with fedora operating system for a particular project. We decided to install opencv latest version of image processing tool, but during the installation error is detected like "The whole step of installation" in the processor through the display CRT monitor stops for a while at about some 95% itself. Due to this issue the total tool of opencv is not get-able in a proper manner.

Which distribution are you using? Seneca's F17 Remix, one of their numerous F18 release candidates, or did you roll your own F18 based on a howto like mine?

I am (obviously) on F18 Arm, and OpenCV installs perfectly with Yum. If you're trying to compile from source, you should double-check your dependencies.

In order to install OpenCV do the following:

  1. Download the version you want from here:

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=2692

  1. Open a console and type:

    sudo yum install package_name

If you find any error on this procedure, post it here.

i saw your link, but during the firmware update in raspberry pi packages are not installed and showing error. I think this will be also a problem during the installation of opencv
