Need security camera software

asked 2016-07-14 19:58:19 -0500

I am a new Fedora user and need an easy to install security camera software package. I looked at ZoneMinder but could not complete the install. Is there a ZoneMinder package that might be more compatible with Fedora?

You can install it on Fedora 24 like this:

sudo dnf install zoneminder

config file will be on /etc/zm.conf

Have not tried but it should work.

You can also try mythzoneminder but it require rpmfusion.org installed after you add rpmfusion repos you can install it like this:

sudo dnf install mythzoneminder

Good luck, hope it helps.

Have you contacted any expert technical team of HD security cameras for help? If don't them contact them first or use ZoneMinder for your project.
