I specifically need GIMP Save for Web plugin. In Ubuntu it was right there in the software center, included in a package called gimp-plugins. I couldn't find it in Fedora, even though I have RPMfusion repos enabled.

@Bucic if you would like gimp-plugins package in fedora you must contact with Fedora Packaging who are in charge of Packaging programs for distribution through yum..

@sergiomb a old package, but It works with Gimp 2.8.14; reading in AUR Arch Linux. Do you need it? I can repack it correctly with F21 and f22 :)

we have a new question https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/ques... please reply there or at least read it to see if we are talking about same software , anyway why you don't become a Fedora packager ?

Both solutions will work, but downloading the tarball from registry.gimp.org and installing it as outlined by @hhlp will give you the more recent version of the two;]

I'm afraid it wasn't such a perfect solution for me. I tried it and this was the result:

root>8*14!# yum localinstall http://sourceforge.net/projects/postinstaller/files/data/gimp-save-for-web-0.29.3-2.i386.rpm
Loaded plugins: langpacks
Cannot open: http://sourceforge.net/projects/postinstaller/files/data/gimp-save-for-web-0.29.3-2.i386.rpm. Skipping.

Nothing to do
