Need help installing broadcom wireless adapter with fedora 24

asked 2016-08-22 08:02:58 -0500

I am a new linux user / windows refugee looking for some assistance getting my wireless adapter working. Can't seem to find the solution no matter how much i google it. every thing I do find seems to pertain to earlier versions of Fedora or other versions of linux (Ubuntu etc)

My adapter is a Broadcom Limited BCM4352 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 03) _ obtained from Terminal.

Did you install rpmfusion.org , there are some broadcom kernel modules there you should install akmod-wl or akmod-broadcom also install kernerl-devel package. Hope it helps.

See to it that you have the RPM Fusion repo installed.

Then open your terminal and write:

sudo dnf -y install akmod-wl kmod-wl broadcom-wl kernel-devel

Or you can use my script: https://github.com/DokterW/FedoraInst...
