2017-11-23 10:05:19 -0500 asked a question Question about windows borders and the default theme

I'm currently using Fedora Workstation 27 and I've noticed that there is a line between the window border and the window itself, and I don't like it. I can see it in the latest versions of Fedora, Debian and Ubuntu, but in Debian 8 this line didn't exist and I prefer it that way. Is there any wat to remove this line? I guess it's related to the gnome version and the default theme on each one.

This is how it looks on Debian 8: https://ibb.co/eUMuv6

This is how it looks on the latest versions on Fedora, Ubuntu and Debian: https://ibb.co/c3Wuv6

So I guess short answer is that I can't watch HD videos with Netflix in fedora :/

By the way, I would like to add that I've been looking for a solution and some people using ubuntu got to play HD videos installing the proprietary drivers of the graphics card (AMD Radeon HD 6950). I've tried this but the latest version is really old and the installer stops because the X.Org version is not supported.

It does not work with chromium or firefox (not out of the box, at leas) in linux. Chrome is the only browser that works.

I use Netflix on my computer a lot, but I can't use it properly on Fedora. I'm a Firefox user but I use Chrome for Netflix, because it works "out of the box", but only with 480p quality...

Maybe a problem related to graphic drivers? Maybe I need to configure some things?

2017-02-26 17:40:04 -0500 commented question Error when I choose the device to install fedora

Yeah, I've validated the image, and I've also tried with the Cinnamon spin. I don't know how to test my memory :/

I've tried with the Fedora 24 image and I've installed it without any problem. I've just performed an upgrade to Fedora 25 from that version.

If anyone has an idea of what happened, it would be great... Just fur future releases.

If I choose both and continue the error is not shown but not all the partitions of the SSD are shown and I can't modify them (delete, create new ones...).

If I click in the "More info..." I get a message that is some hundreds of pages long (tried copying it in a LibreOffice Writer document)... It starts like this (taken a screenshot of the text in gedit because it's longer than the characters I can write here):

More Info... message

I'll try to choose both and manual partition tomorrow!

I had no free space on the SSD, but I thought this could be the problem and I restarted and resized some partitions with gparted and then tried again and I had the same problem.

Thanks for the ideas.

When I try to install Fedora 25 and I choose the device where I want to install it, I get this error message and I can't continue the installation:

This happens with the Cinnamon spin too. If I choose the HDD (not the SSD) there's no problem, but I want to install fedora in the SSD.
