OK so I upgraded a friends laptop from Fedora 21 to 25 (reinstall). Now the WIFI won't connect through network manager. I can do it manually using the following script:

sudo systemctl stop NetworkManager
sudo iwconfig wlp0s29f7u1u1u1 essid TELUS3440
sudo wpa_supplicant -B -D wext -i wlp0s29f7u1u1u1 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant_custom.conf
sudo dhclient wlp0s29f7u1u1u1

And this works fine. But when I try to use network manager it fails. It also fails if I enter an incorrect password and as far as I can tell it makes no difference.

The logs from everything while trying to connect via network manager are attached (OK they're not due to draconian rules!)
