Hello,

My system has an i7 with HD Graphics 3000. According to Intel it's capable of 2500x1600 resolution. My monitor supports that resolution and I'm using a DVI-D cable. However the maximum resolution I'm getting on F16 x86_64 is 1920x1200. Any ideas?

Thank You, Erasmo.

According to Intel:

Intel Graphics Reference

The maximum resolution depends on the connection type.

  • Display Port: 2500x1600
  • HDMI/DVI/VGA: 1920x1200

You must use DP (Display Port) for the resolution you want.

the integrated Graphics in Sandybridge cpus only supports up to FullHD 1920x1200

Right side buttom:

1920 x 1200 resolution, 32-bit color

you have to use a dedicated graphic card to use you max resolution.
