Wayland seems really nice, and I would really like to start using it as well, as Fedora is getting rid of xorg in Fedora 25+.

When I login using Wayland, everything is really laggy. My mouse lags and sometimes it even freezes. Is this because Fedora 24 hasn't got proper Wayland support yet or because Wayland isn't ready to be used yet? I don't think it's not ready to be used yet, because why would Fedora release Fedora 25 only with Wayland.

Additional information: - I'm using my integrated graphics from my Intel cpu, not a nvidia/amd gpu. - I got rid of my nouvea drivers because I use Intel graphics. - Using Intel modesetting and i915.preliminaryhwsupport in my boot params.

If you feel Wayland it's not ready, then just wait a bit until it's ready (and the GUI desktop apps as well).

In the meantime, feel free to check known bugs(f25)

I am using Wayland on F24 and it works just fine (onboard intel btw) - of course, except for the few features that are not yet implemented.

Moreover, it will take a few more releases until Xorg server will not be shipped with Fedora anymore. So, if you are not too concerned about the security enhancements that come with Wayland, just use Xorg.
