Currently, the installation fails on F20 because of broken dependencies. The v8 library is newer than required by nodejs. Here's the package site https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/acls/name/nodejs

Preparing your system for compiling :

yum install gcc-c++ make openssl-devel
  1. Install from Source code :
wget http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.8.15/node-v0.8.15.tar.gz
tar zxvf node-v0.8.15.tar.gz
cd node-v0.8.15
./configure
make
make install
  1. Install from GIT repository
yum install git
git clone git://github.com/joyent/node.git
cd node
./configure
make
make install
  1. Install from Node Version Manager

Is there any reason to manually install it instead of using the repos?
