Cannot Login To GNOME (X-Wayland) at Greeter '25

At the greeter there are three available desktop environments to choose from. These are:

GNOME (X-Wayland), GNOME Classic, GNOME on Xorg

I have been using the last one daily. Since I have been getting a lot of system crashes, I decided to try GNOME (X-Wayland) again to see if these would diminish; however the arrow cursor locked-up immediately and the desktop would not load even after 5 min.

I have the following kernels:

4.9.14-200.fc25.x8664, 4.9.13-201.fc25.x8664, Fedora (Rescue)

None of these would load GNOME (X-Wayland) and Fedora (Rescue) stated "You are in emergency mode" and would not start X.

Do you have any proprietary drivers installed? Try to hit ctrl + alt + f4 as you will see the greeter. Login as user and examine your Xorg log file: cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep EE

Seems to be working. Also I didn't start seeing this problem until recently. I suspect the original install was good; however, I did have to rebuild a database about a month ago.

Here's the output:

Is your dbus.service running? systemctl status dbus.service It looks like you have installed Fedora with damaged ISO-file or so...

SOLVED; sort of:

Well, I started turning off extensions in Gnome-Tweak-Tool.

It turns out that "Easy Screen Cast" freezes Gnome in Xwayland every time.

Wow, that sucks. I'll let the dev know.

Looks like the Gnome devs already knew about this one, since easy screencast was pulled from the extensions list. Too bad they didn't share this info with us?
