First thing I would do, is disabling all third-party repositories before upgrading (adobe, chrome, rpmfusion). Also, I am surprised how many different rpmfusion repos you have set up there. Disable them all, and after the upgrade to F25, just enable the ones you need. Then, I would first run the upgrade process without the --best and without --allowerasing options. Only, if the upgrade fails, I'd go back to those options.

In regards to the locale message, you can ignore it for now.

First, try again with above recommendations.

How to disable the repos along with dnf command

george ( 2017-03-20 15:13:11 +0000 )edit

This is how

dnf config-manager --set-disabled google-chrome-unstable

As example. Please look at this guide to learn more about dnf.

Alternatively, you can either

  • edit the .repo files in /etc/yum.repos.d/ and set enabled=0, or

  • delete the .repo files (sudo rm /etc/yum.repos.d/xxx.repo) (be careful with this!)

Still the upgrade is not success. When I disable google products with dnf, the system starts downloading thousands of rpm files and at the end I typed the command sudo dnf system-upgrade reboot I got the message that the system is not ready for upgrade. Why?
