Hello there, I am having problems to have access on my phone to put or get files from it. I connect the USB and the phone says that is on Media Transfer mode but when I got to the File Manager to open it doesn't recognize it. Am I missing any driver or what?

The lsusb output shows that the phone is being detected. See if there are any messages in dmesg after plugging in your phone.

(I have an htc wildfire running CM7, and it gets detected without issues.)

Do your phone has the default Samsung apps? You need to go to parameters/network/usb utilities (not sur about translations) and then enable USB mass storage.

The samsung (kies?) app prevent the option to be on the notification bar :(
