You have to press key ctl+alt+del then reinstall your video kernel module as you installed the first time.

This is true if and only if you installed the binary blob downloaded directly from the OEM. If you're using the default OSS nouveau drivers, or the repackaged ones from rpmfusion, the above doesn't apply.

If you want to get away from manual installation, use the nvidia.com drivers, and install with dkms so that it rebuilds the module, on each kernel update. I have amd FX-6300 6 core, and gtx 970. Been through kernel update, and driver updates, currenlty running 381.22 from https://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/L... and when kernel updated to 4.10.16-200 dkms rebuilt the driver for the kernel. In order for this to work automatically, you need to have installed kernel-devel and kernel-headers and gcc. Not sure if it requires it, but I also installed acpid. Once it is setup, every kernel upgrade will automatically fire dkms as soon as the new kernel-devel is downloaded. The update pauses for around 2-3 minutes while the new video driver is built for the kernel and once the update completes, you are ready to boot to the new kernel and working drivers. If you need additional help, comment here, and I will respond.

Catch the grub menu before it boots, hit e, put nomodeset on the linux command line, in front of quiet, and start the computer. You will hve a limited graphics mode, get to terminal, remove akmods, nouveau, and anything at all that is not nvidia.com . while in the limited graphics mode, go to the link, get the driver, and install it. you may need to do sudo init 3 to get to multi.user before you install the driver. Read the answer, and follow the steps.

I solved the problem of the emergency mode by fixing the corrupted partition using fsck, by following this link: http://foobaring.blogspot.com/2014/01...

Then after I got the black screen again I entered CTRL + ALT + F2 to enter the terminal and then installed the driver from NVIDIA https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/to...

And my problem solved, thanks guys for helping

Did you install, with dkms, to allow kernel updates to work automatically?
