My new USB WiFi receiver is not getting recognized on when connected to rear USB port. But it is working fine without problems when connected to the front USB port. Thinking my rear USB might have died, I've connected USB thumb drive to it and checked, and the USB pen drive worked fine on the rear USB port where I tried my new USB WiFi receiver.

I'm using Fedora 25 KDE and I've checked that the driver for the module is getting loaded on startup. Is there a way to resolve this?

In a terminal, run sudo journalctl -f and see what the difference in log messages is between plugging it into the different ports.
