A tale of fedora26, vmware, flatpack, spotify and discord

Hi all! I'm totally new to both fedora, and asking questions here. Pls forgive in advance. :) To make long story short, I'm running fedora26 on my PC (vmware), to see if it's the distro for me. The good news is; I really like it! Snappy, and with some small tweaks (pun intended), i make it look like i want it to.

But, there are two apps that are a complete pita. Tired to install spotify via terminal (found a rep), and when i wanted to lauch it, it just freeze. When I turn it off, i get the program doesn't respond error. Uninstalled, got it from flatpack, and same story. Won't start. Tried to install Discord from flatpack, and same story. Freezes etc.. Other apps from flatpack works fine, so it's not that (now I just revealed how nub I am).

Any suggestions? When installing tweak tools, i need to add some python code btw, before I got it to work. Is that a clue?

Both apps works perfectly fine on other distros (tested on, among others, Solus)

Kind regards, Stefan

Keep in mind that you running Fedora 26 which is on Beta, external packages may not ready for it. If you try Fedora 25 it could be a different history.

Thank you so much for replying! :) I have installed Fedora 25, and gone though the same processes. Problems are identical there.

flatpak install --from $ This is the one. Might WMVare be the issue?

Guis, I'm very sorry, but this question is from a new user who don't properly know to install VMvare tools. After I had done that, everything worked as it should. Thank you, to those that replied!
