Google R-java rpm files for fedora 25 and r-core for fedora 25 rpm files. If using a web browser click on tools and search add ons. You can also google java runtime rpm files for fedora 25 and get a link on how to install oricle java.

If you did not have a JRE installed at all, running that java command would print you something like this:

bash: java: command not found

However, in Fedora it is possible to have a minimal, headless Java installation that does not include GUI functionality. To install the usual JRE that fedora ships, run this:

sudo dnf install java-1.8.0-openjdk

I think Minecraft at least earlier used to recommend using the proprietary JRE from Oracle. However in my experience, Minecraft would run just fine with the openjdk that Fedora had. I have not tested this in a few years, though.
