Hello, in the web of virtualbox say,
Users of Fedora can add the Fedora repo file to /etc/yum.repos.d/.
But is not for 26 yet

 peter  ~  sudo dnf update
[sudo] password for peter:
Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'virtualbox', disabling.

what is your recommendation in this case , thanks friends
if we only instal the rpm package(25/26) by gnome-software(software-install) , it won't get update? , thanks in advance.

For a quick fix .. Things i have done in the past.. Just hard code the path in the repo.. to use previous revison. And to keep the system updated, when Oracle gets the build out of it just undo what you did and it will update with the 26 build .. Even if it dose not you can still manually pull down the rpms and do a dnf localinstall .. ymmv

VirtualBox for f26 is available on https://rpmfusion.org/Configuration

If the version from Oracle is better, I wouldn't know.

Do you have to do something in the BIOS to get VirtualBox running. I downloaded and installed VirtualBox but it does appear in my search bar and i can't open it in the terminal. What could be the problem?

first save this virtualbox.repo file in /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory , you must change $releasever by 25 in that line

baseurl=http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/rpm/fedora/$releasever/$basearch

Then

sudo dnf update

sudo dnf install VirtualBox-5.1

this guide is very useful

If you do not have problem with updates you would install directly the rpm package available for f25/26, it automatically will open "gnome software center" then click in install and go.

Once installed you can test its behaviour , I will use it with vagrant in a sql class.
