When I log into Fedora 16 with my fingerprint reader, it requires me to enter my password again after I login. I think it's due to Online Accounts. Is there any way to avoid this besides disabling my GMail account?

I think the password it asks you for is required for the gnome-keyring, or another service. You should file a bug and let upstream clarify this up.
