By default, Gnome saves screenshots to ~/Pictures/
I want screenshots saved to ~/Pictures/screenshots/

I created /home/wolfv/Pictures/screenshots_nobackup/ folder and followed the instructions on https://www.faqforge.com/linux/distri...

My attempt via Dconf-Editor, but screenshots are still going into the default /home/wolfv/Pictures/ folder.

My attempts via command line had similar results:

$ gsettings set org.gnome.gnome-screenshot auto-save-directory "/home/wolfv/Pictures/screenshots_nobackup/"

$ gsettings set org.gnome.gnome-screenshot auto-save-directory "file:///home/wolfv/Pictures/screenshots_nobackup/"

How to set screenshots path?

I am using Fedora 26, Gnome 3.24.2

UPDATE_1

After screen shot:

$ pwd
/home/wolfv/Pictures
$ ls -1
icons_nobackup
pictues_nobackup
'Screenshot from 2017-08-15 08-08-25.png'
screenshots_nobackup
$ gsettings get org.gnome.gnome-screenshot auto-save-directory
'file:///home/wolfv/Pictures/screenshots_nobackup/'
$ file /home/wolfv/Pictures/screenshots_nobackup/
/home/wolfv/Pictures/screenshots_nobackup/: directory

What does gsettings get org.gnome.gnome-screenshot auto-save-directory return? What does file /home/wolfv/Pictures/screenshots_nobackup/ return?

running fc26, cinnamon desktop, used dconf-editor, found gnome entry, then set gnome screenshot to custom, used ~/Pictures/Screenshots after making the Screenshots folder first. Tested it and all the screenshots are now going into that folder.
