As shown in this picture, the Installer is bigger than what is stated. I scanned it on virustotal and it was detected by one Antivirus engine. Is it hacked?

No, it is not hacked. Windoze uses a 4096bit cluster size, and i believe that fedora is smaller. cluster size means the OS sets aside that space, even if it only uses a portion of it, so the wasted space in clusters could explain why it is bigger when windows gets it. Could also be that your windows has a virus, and not the file itself. Have you scanned to make sure windows is clean?

I just scanned my device and found no threats. This is a clean install of Windows that was installed about a week ago.

Just did it on my Android Tablet and it was the exact same size. I think the file may be hacked.

Everything is safe. Just ran it from Get fedora VirusTotal had a false positive, and the size stated on the website is just incorrect.

In my opinion, the getfedora download page is confusing here: When you open the page from a Windows OS, you are downloading neither the .iso image file for Fedora, nor a Fedora installer. What you download is a little program called Fedora Media Writer that is capable of...

1.) downloading the .iso image file (and check the checksum), and then

2.) write it to a USB drive.

With that USB drive, you can finally boot your machine and the actual Fedora installer (called Anaconda) will start and help you installing Fedora onto your machine.

You can download Fedora Media Writer from github, (.exe file here). It clearly says that the file size is 25.2 MB, not 16 MB as on getfedora. That's an error that should be reported to the websites-team.
