Weird Wifi connnection problem

Hello guys, I have a weird connection problem when i visit my parents house and try to connect my laptop to their Wifi, i get No internet and a yellow triangle sign. so i have to restart the router to be able to get a connection, although all my other devices work fine. i have HP laptop (Windows 10). does anyone know, what is causing this problem? Thanks for the help:)

Hi Sana, It's probably wifi driver issue, either on your router or laptop. Update router's firmware and laptop's wifi driver.

Here are instructions on how to run (without installing) Fedora on your laptop. Fedora is a Linux distribution and it uses different wifi drivers, maybe it won't be prone to your issue (and maybe you'll like it). If you're used to windows, you should find Cinnamon spin the most familiar. Get it from

Really not a Windows support site but I'll give it a go anyway. In Win10 there is (still, I think) a bug regarding wifi. What you should do is hold down the SHIFT key and reboot. Keep holding SHIFT until you see login screen again. This will completely reset your wifi settings. This has fixed many of our clients computers wifi problems.
