It started with kernel 4.10.11 on fc25, its 4.12.12.300 on fc 26 now! I have rtl8821ae built in wifi card. Each time the kernel updates are installed I have to manually make the rtlwifi module & install provided by https://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_n... . is there any way to make this autonomous or better fix the built in module ?

is there any permanent solution for this?

For now you could use dkms to automate the build process and the module you need should be compiled during kernel updates. The package rtlwifi already ships with a dkms.conf, so most work is done.

To add the module to dkms follow these steps.

dnf install kernel-devel dkms gcc
git clone https://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new.git
cd rtlwifi_new
dkms add .
dkms build
dkms install
