Mine did the same, had to use tab to navigate to the buttons, and enter to click. Once it is finished installing Fedora 27 Desktop - everything else appears to be working except for the touchpad click. I can move the mouse cursor, but no luck clicking.

Okay, if you follow my steps of using tab to navigate the installer, and enter to select the button, drive to install, root's password, done, new user information, etc. You will finish a successful installation, now once you are at the desktop (after the reboot) - tap your left command button, type wifi enter - this will bring up the setting application.

From here you want to use the tab button to get into the listing of hardware groups on the left - down arrow to next to bottom (Devices), press enter, the list changes, down arrow twice to to mouse & touchpad, enter to select it, right arrow to jump to the choices ... tab from the top settings to the next field, etc all the way down to the "OFF/ON" switch for "Tap to click", press enter the switch will flip from OFF to ON showing, tab out to the next setting - and viola! don't click, tap your touch pad, and it does the click for you!
