Turn on screen sharing (VNC) in Fedora 26

Is it still possible to activate screen sharing (probably VNC) from the desktop interface? These instructions seem to be outdated:

Is it disabled because of Wayland?

Is there in the command line that I can do to turn on or enable this option?

Due to the new security features in Wayland, the screen sharing through VNC is not possible. However, you can share an x.org session through VNC just fine.

Note that VNC does not share your current desktop but creates a new X window to be shared.

Do you know if this an intrinsic limitation of Wayland or this is just a temporarily missing feature?

Work is underway for VNC on GNOME on Wayland. It’s looking like it won’t be in a GNOME release for another couple of months, at least.

The Wayland security model is totally different from the one in the X Window System. Applications will need to be fixed to accommodate the changes.
