Hi, I want downgrade the kernel, then I want know what versions are available on the repo. Around the net some people say the command is:

# dnf --showduplicates list kernel

but it does not work.. I mean it didn't gave me any results. Any hints ?

That command is correct. Maybe dnf clear all could help.

You will only find the latest kernel in the updates repository and the original release kernel in the fedora repository. That is the same as for all other fedora packages.

You can find older kernels here. Select the version you need and you will find the individual rpm files, Once downloaded, the rpm packages can be installed using rpm install specifying the file path names of the rpm files.

In what way does dnf --showduplicates list kernel not work?

There shouldn’t be a need to downgrade your kernel because when you update the older kernels are kept and you can boot them from grub.

ähmm... "clean all" removes all cached dnf data and does not list any old kernels from the repo.

"dnf --showduplicates list kernel"

is the correct cmd.

As fedora maintainers remove old versions from the updatesrepo, you find what you really seek @https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8
