Hi All,

I have a computer with Fedora 25 on it. Can I go straight to 27 beta? Or do I need to upgrade to 26 first?

Many thanks, -T

Yes, you can!

Instructions can be found here.

It boils down to this command:

sudo dnf system-upgrade download --refresh --releasever=27

(You have to have dnf-plugin-system-upgrade installed).

I updated my Fedora 25 to 27 without problem; the point is check if your repositories is available for F27; if not delete it...

This is my upgrade instructions:

# rpm --rebuilddb
# rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
if anything is too new, do a
        # dnf downgrade offender(s)

# dnf update --refresh
# dnf install python3-dnf-plugin-system-upgrade
# dnf system-upgrade download --refresh --releasever=27 --allowerasing
# dnf clean packages <-- optional
# dnf system-upgrade reboot

Where would I put "dnf install dist-upgrade"?
