Where can I download the Fedora 27 documentation in PDF format? The newly revamped https://doc.fedoraproject.org no longer seems to allow me to select the format, and only provides a method to browse html pages

Weirdly this post was rejected as a duplicate, but the only similar post refers to the old doc site, which no longer relevant. The rejection email was not helpful

It's a bit of a process, but you might be able to generate the PDFs yourself. Git clone the docs from the appropriate site linked from https://pagure.io/fedora-docs/ . Install the rubygem-asciidoctor-pdf package and follow the instructions at http://asciidoctor.org/docs/asciidoct... .

This is just a suggestion, I haven't actually tried this myself.

An answer from BlackenedCZ on #fedora-docs was

Nope, and I am afraid it's not even planned to do so. The team changed the way the docs are publish and PDFs are no longer part of the workflow.

May we know the reasons ?

I'm old school so I like to print the pdf docs and put them in a binder. I can also store them on my phone or laptop and not have to worry about connectivity. I wish they'd change their mind and offer the docs in pdf format.
