I have following issue when i am trying launch steam from terminal. I tried launch steam from desktop launcher, but it's not working.

"Repairing installation, linking /home/eolsori/.steam/steam to /home/eolsori/.local/share/Steam Running Steam on fedora 27 64-bit STEAMRUNTIME is enabled automatically Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(0) /home/eolsori/.local/share/Steam/steam.sh: line 713: 31319 Segmentation fault (core dumped) $STEAMDEBUGGER "$STEAMROOT/$STEAMEXEPATH" "$@" /home/eolsori/.local/share/Steam/steam.sh: line 444: no match: ssfn* "

I downloaded Nvidia 384.92 driver from Nvidia.com and succesfully installed it with using this tutorial: https://www.if-not-true-then-false.co...

then i used this tutorial for add native screen resolution. ( now i have normal screen resolution ) http://zyxon.github.io/getting-a-moni...

then i install RPMfusion packages from this command: sudo dnf install https://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/... -E %fedora).noarch.rpm https://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfr... -E %fedora).noarch.rpm

then i installed steam from terminal ( sudo dnf install steam ) but i can't launch it.

Why? I have launch problem only on fedora. I tested steam on Ubuntu and many other debian based distro and it's working without any problem.

Fedora 27, Nvidia 970 with proprietary 387.34, 16Gig ram, AMD fx-6350 six core, Run Wine and Steam with no issues. What repository did you use to get steam?

I'm using Nvidia drivers on my F27 64 bit machine (fresh install of Fedora 27). I installed:

xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs

And then ran steam and it worked fine.
