how to make application fonts smaller

I just installed Fedora 27 - MATE spin and the fonts for Chrome and Firefox specifically are just massive on my 3 24" LCDs. I've been poking all around the mate configuration and haven't found anything that fixes everything, but just a few things. Can someone point me in the right direction?

It's found in the sub-menu System>Preferences>Appearance, and then the font tab, or can you do the sub-menu System>Control Center then the Appearance icon, and then the font tab. The menu can be on a bar that's either at the the top or the bottom of the screen. When I installed my system it was at the top. Firefox and Chrome also have their own separate font settings in each application.

So I did that but I feel like it didn't do anything for Chrome/FireFox. However I found this for Chrome. Seems to help.

Thank you though!

Yes, you have change setting inside each application for the web page font.
