I'm trying to install opera on linux fedora. I logged into terminal and typed yum install http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/... 64.rpm It responded with an error cannot package http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/...64.rpm to transaction. Not a compatible architecture: x86_64 Error: nothing to do. What have I done wrong

Hey! Can you give us more information about your machine? 32 or 64 bits?; also You are installing a old version of Opera... You can install the newest version of Operahere if you have a 64 bits machine....

Welcome to ask.fedora. It looks like there's a typo somewhere, as the filename isn't complete. Try using this link to download it. (Note that your link ends with x86 and mine with x86_64.rpm, which makes all the difference.)

The link is broken. Ask.fpo interprets the underscore as character for italic font.
