Hi again, I do have another problem upgrading my F26 workstation to F27:

Problem: package ICAClient- requires webkitgtk, but none of the providers can be installed
  - webkitgtk-2.4.11-5.fc26.x86_64 does not belong to a distupgrade repository
  - problem with installed package ICAClient-

ICAClient-... is the Citrix Receiver which I desperately need for work. I have checked Fedora's repository for the webkitgtk package and it really looks like that this package has been removed from Fedora.

What is the solution for this? One hand, I will have to upgrade to F27 sooner or later, on the other, I need Citrix Receiver to work.

Is it an option to install webkitgtk from the F26 repo on my upgraded F27?

I'm running Citrix Receiver (v13.9) in Fedora 27 Gnome and it works without any noticeable problems. I used what Citrix calls "Red Hat Web package" from here: https://www.citrix.com/downloads/citr... I read somewhere that the web package (whatever is the difference to the self-service package is...?) does not need webkitgtk. So all is fine!

You can also test this whole setup in a Virtual machine before upgrading your workstation, though it shouldn't be a problem.

I think from the link that @villykruse posted, you'll find the forum thread talking about the web package. I would not go the route described in Citrix forum and install gnucash and then link the libs. If you don't need it, you don't want webkitgtk!

I can confirm: The "Web receiver only" package (rpm installed using dnf) works fine under F27.

See Fedora 27 and webkitgtk

Found via Google search for "citrix fedora 27".

Thumbs up! This forum post was linked in the thread you posted. I could have found it myself. Thanks!
